Bed Risers. The new, more attractive, and equally effective “cinder block.”

Bed risers are compact cubes that students place under the wheels of their bed frames. Bed risers provide extra storage space.

Residence Hall Bed Risers

You can add 5” under your bed with these high-density poly-compound risers, available through the Association of Residence Halls.

The four posts of your bed (including the rollers) will simply and securely set into the top groove of the bed riser. In other words, these are high-density molded plastic bed risers that allow for much more efficient storage under your bed. The risers will work on any bed on campus and any bed with posts no larger than 3” in diameter. Four risers come per box and are available in either black or white.

Why get bed risers?

Any profit from the purchase of bed risers is used by the Association of Resident Halls to directly benefit the students. (i.e. Charity Ball, Cultural Dinners, Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner, Blood Drives, Relay for Life, etc.)

Compare to cinder blocks…

A Bedroom Manager™ bed riser weighs less than one pound (.875 lbs each to be exact) A cinder block weighs, on average, 37 lbs. each…yeah!
A Bedroom Manager™ bed riser causes no damage to the resident halls.

A cinder block inflicts avoidable and costly damage to the resident halls. For example:

  • An 80 cent block can end up costing the students up to $50 per block in proration fees.
  • Causes severe damage to the trash chutes
  • Causes damage to floor tiles (scratching and deep grooves)

Beyond the resident halls, a Bedroom Manager™ bed riser can be used at home or in an apartment. Cinder blocks contribute to landfill.
A Bedroom Manager™ bed riser is more attractive than bulky cinder blocks.
