A conveniently-located housing option for upperclass, graduate and family students, with or without children.

If you're looking for an affordable, family-oriented apartment complex that's part of the Illinois State University community, look no further than apartment living through Illinois State University Housing Services.

Illinois State's two complexes, Cardinal Court and 300 Shelbourne Drive, provide modern, efficient living accommodations for family and single graduate/undergraduate students.

All apartment assignments are made without regard to race, color, or creed, in accordance with University policy. Assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Families with dependents are assigned to and have priority for two-bedroom units. The University reserves the right to authorize or deny apartment and apartment mate changes, and to require residents to move from one apartment to another.

For purposes of Apartment Living eligibility, a family is defined as a student with a spouse, domestic partner, or dependant.  One bedroom units may be occupied by one person or two people in a documented marriage or domestic partnership.  Residents of the opposite sex will not be assigned to, nor may they occupy, the same apartment except in the following cases: married couples, couples in domestic parternships, single students and their dependents.  Two registered students of the same sex who are not married or in a domestic partnership may be assigned a two-bedroom unit depending on availability.
