Want to see your future home at Illinois State University this summer? The only way to do this is to sign up for a Daily Campus Visit which includes a tour of East Campus or visit us on one of our summer Open House dates to view East and West Campus. Registration through Admissions for both events is highly recommended.
A show room is also availabe in the Cardinal Court Community Center which houses primarily sophomore students.

Each year there are a number of students who are manually assigned by University Housing Services. Your selection method is determined by how soon we received your application-contract. We will strive to assign this group according to preferences as much as possible dependent on space availability. Please enter preferences to be considered here.
Manual room assignments are made in July after the conclusion of the online room selection.

The University may grant exceptions to student who are not required but would like to live on campus. Because University Housing Services must reserve space for students who are required to live on campus, we have a limited amount of exceptions available. It’s finally here! Beginning Monday, July 21 you will be able to view your room and roommate assignment on our Online Room Assignment Notice. On this site you will also find information specific to your move-in time and date. Please note, if you did not have a webdate you may not have been assigned to a room as we are still working on some manual assignments.Check back regularly as we will continue to update the website with room assignments. It is getting close to 2014 move-in! Move-in newsletters will be sent to home addresses throughout the month of July. You can also check out move-in dates and times as well as more move-in information here.
If you are a returning student to Illinois State this fall, please make sure to check your emai l(ISU account) to register for a move-in date and time. Registering will help UHS and campus partners ensure a smooth arrival. Don’t forget to check your emails!
Summer housing will be offered in East Campus from May 11 through August 8. A variety of contract periods are available from one week up to 13-week stays. Check us out!
Welcome2ISU, Illinois State’s Web portal, is open at 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. daily for students to submit their housing application-contract for the 2014-2015 academic year. Submission of this application-contract will determine your priority within the room selection process.

The University requires students to live in university housing their first two years out of high school. Students who fall under the University On-Campus Housing Policy will not be able to register for classes until University Housing Services receives their residence hall contract and initial payment. These regulations are applicable to all students insofar as space is available in University residence halls.
Spaces are still available for spring 2014 at Shelbourne apartments. These spaces are for students who are married or in domestic partnerships, students with dependents, graduate students, and qualifying upper class students. Submit an application today.

Mounted door knobs, mailbox doors, and room numbers from Atkin/Colby and Hamilton/Whitten residence halls are available for purchase and benefit the University Housing Services Student Employee Scholarship fund. Learn more.
